Carlisle City Council - Women's Shelter

Contributed to improving living conditions within a local women and children’s shelter through a range of hands-on and community-focused initiatives. This included organising donations of essential supplies, redecorating both communal and personal spaces to create a more comfortable environment, and developing outdoor green spaces to provide safe areas for residents. Additional support included delivering cooking sessions and basic budgeting workshops to encourage confidence, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
